This work was presented at the Jazz and Heritage Festival New Orleans 2024. as part of the Exchange Pavilion (CEP), Colombia.

COCA teaches us to speak the truth with a sweet word, and CACAO opens the heart to joy.

Both plants require respect. Colombia’s women carry their ancestry, keeping alive the memory, traditions, and wisdom of their land, carried by the wind.

This installation creates a visual representation of the interconnectedness of the Americas.
